Big Hip Hop night, mythical Dj of the Beastie Boys: Mix Master Mike, aka Michael Schwartz. The founding member of Invisible Skratch Piklz collective, three-times awarded at DJ World Championship (he was then asked to retire from the contest in order to let the others a chance to win), did not disappoint toulousan ears. Built on US rap standards, with soul, funk or rock classics (from Rage against the Machine to Cypress Hill to Bob James), Mix Master Mike gives a two hour energetic mix, at the border of reality, full of rhythm breaks and colliding scratches, acting like an electric chock on the over excited crowd: happiness for the ears and the eyes.
