Adam Kesher was born in Bordeaux, France in the year 2002, out of the creative friendship shared by Gaëtan and Julien, two brothers torn between various influences going from the ghostly eighties sounds of Joy Division, The Cure and Gang of Four, to more actual rock bands such as At the drive-in and Robocop Kraus.
Last minute guest at Garorock festival, Adam Kesher gave the audience an amazing over energetic live performance! See you in the VIP corner at Garo for an interview of this band made for live and indubitably on the road to success, Adam Kesher.

Adulated and bought by Charles Saatchi, (Huge Art collector, shopping addict and shark businessman for the CV) Sarah Lucas is distinguished with her pop collage from the streetwalker scum press, her funny and political self-portraits with fried eggs and plucked chickens, her sculptures with cigarettes and her crashed cars.

American playwright Tennessee Williams, who won twice the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, still inquire into the world of the marginal, desperate and unadapted people. Often alone, Tennessee Williams' characters hang around in a decadent universe. Blanche Dubois, Streetcar's hero between her will for purity and her screaming sexuality, can't adapt to her new life at New-Orleans.
She runs up against her brother-in-law, Stanley Kowalski, who will make his possible to destroy Blanche. Tennessee Williams with A Streetcar named Desire wrote one of the XXth century master pieces where sex, loneliness and fake reality interlace.

For the first time Africa, in the form of Cameroon Makossa, nosed its way into soul, the heir to jazz and rhythm'n blues. As is often the case, this particular stage in musical evolution, which today is considered as capital, was at the time nearly missed, the b side of a single which should never have got further than the suburbs of Douala.
The grandpappy of Makossa Soul, Manu Dibango, plays a key role in our century.

Unthinkable event, who would have bet on the improbable coming of Method Man, aka Johnny Blaze (nickname of the human torch from the the Fantastic Four), citizen Clifford Smith, on the toulousan stage Havana Cafe.

Promoting his last record "4 : 21... The day after" on tour out of Paris, Method Man did not fall short of his reputation coming before him. Facing an over-excited audience, the most popular member of Staten Island, in spite of his 35 years, still has the good method to satisfy the fury of the audience: he works hard for more than one hour twenty, climbs on whatever can be climbed, raps and jumps in the crowd, covers Wu Tang Clan classics. Method Man is one of the rare living legends in rap still active and decided to stay at the top. But once the engine is started, it is very difficult not to say impossible to interview him.

And yet, after long and hard negociations with his manager, Method man in bathrobe receives us the day after in his "Bains Douches" room, "higher" than ever, for an exclusive discussion.

Dran 'Humanidad Estafa'

Artist from Toulouse initially involved in graffiti, Dran diversified his techniques in order to survive and progress.

His studies at the Fine Arts School allowed him to improve his drawing and according to his meetings, he is in charge of the visual identity of bands like Alif Soundsystem or Birdy Nam Nam, illustrator for magazine CQFD or drawer for the Nissan european campaign. Highly sensitive, Dran put together in his (already) third book, his brilliant illustrations on cardboard packaging.

Caustic but realistic critic of the society we are living in, his cardboards can be seen at GHP gallery until May,19th. Dran receives us in his workshop between silkscreen machines, old cardboards and paint sprays to tell us about his art.

Who never heard about Didier Morville aka Joey Starr, emblematic figure of the french rap and pionner of the hip hop movement in France? Indivisible part of the band NTM that he created with Kool Shen, he gives a new direction to his career and puts a distance with his first band when creating his own label B.O.S.S.
Skinned alive and revolted by nature, his problems with justice are a treasure for the press. After many projects and many albums, we now can see him in TV shows or movies. In 2006, he delivers his discs My Playlist and Gare au Jaguarr.

Daughter of one of the most important partner of Claude Chabrol, she was naturally born for the cinema, but the movie cameras did not give her a good image of herself. After years of black hole and existential questions, she's back and writes lyrics and music according to her desires. Mick est tout seul
Depuis trois ans, il avait en réserve plein de bouts de chansons inexploitées : des trucs faits à la maison ou dans des petits studios, pendant les temps morts des tournées et en fin de session des albums de Mickey 3D. Alors, Mick a profité d'une pause dans la vie trépidante du groupe pour achever son oeuvre et porter en solo ces chansons intimes dans un album tout fragile : "Les chansons perdues" qu'il assume tout seul sur scène. Et l'on découvre Mickey 1D, dans des thèmes sentimentaux et personnels, jouant de tous les instruments comme pour ne rien devoir à personne. Mick est tout seul, vraiment tout seul même en interview.

Avril pas d’un fil...
Bon ça y est, la ligne droite de cette demi-finale présidentielle est lancée. Les concurrents sont scindés en deux groupes distincts avec, un premier composé de trois nationalistes et d’un eureupéen (la valise à la main), suivit loin derrière par un quintet de rêve aux lutionnaires, d’un alter et go, d’un pêcheur à la traîne, d’une écolo bobo et d’un vicomte même pas pourfendu.
22 les voilà ! Si les jeux semblent faits pour les quatre détachés, dans quel ordre franchiront le fil de l’arrivée ?
A leurre de l’Europe et de ce commentaire, l’Ordre nouveau tient la corde suivit de l’Ordre juste. A une foulée derrière, l’Ordre consensuel fournit un effort notoire pour ne pas se faire coiffer sur le poteau, alors que l’Ordre pour l’ordre, calculateur s’il en est, en garde sous les rangers.
Dans les tribunes, les supporters exultent. Drapeau tricolore à la main et marseillaise en bouche, on se sait plus qui soutient qui, c’est une drôle d’impression qui se dégage à ce stade de la course. C’est comme si une coalition se mettait en marche, à la limite peu importe qui va se qualifier puisque au final c’est l’Ordre que le peuple veut voir triompher... Un OGM (Ordre Génétiquement Modifié) certes mais nez en moins un Ordre. Doit-on en être rassuré ? Pas vraiment !!
Et dire que tout ça se passe au siècle 21 aux pays des Hommes libres ! C’est quand le bonheur, comme chante l’autre âne ?...

For three years, it had had in reserve full with ends of unexploited songs : tricks made at home or in small studios, during the idle periods on the road and at the end of the session of the albums of Mickey 3D. Then, Mick benefitted from a pause in the vibrating life of the group to complete his work and to carry in solo these intimate songs in a very fragile album: "The lost songs" which it all alone assumes on scene... Danseur et chorégraphe d'origine suisse, Thomas Hauert présente Modify au Théâtre Garonne.
C'est à Bruxelles auprès de l'illustre Anne Térésa de Keersmaeker que Thomas Hauert a fait ses classes. En 1997, il monte sa propre compagnie Zoo avec laquelle il crée une dizaine de spectacles du solo jusqu'à l'improvisation pour 10 danseurs.
